Read and Reflect: Why Is Photography So Important

Photography is important because it allows us to view the world from different perspectives. It connects us to the past, reminds us of people, places, feelings, and stories. It allows us to capture meaningful moments, that we can look back on and cherish and relive with the vivid memories. Photography is a powerful language that speaks to our emotions. It allows us to share our ideas, story and our view point of the world. Photography evokes positive emotions, and insight in us, which can be inspiring and can influence the direction one might take in life. Photography also brings one closer to their culture and nature.

  • Conceptual defined in photography is a photo which illustrates an Idea.
  • I took this photo because I am religious.

Why Photographer Cindy Sherman Is Still the Queen of Reinvention | Smart News | Smithsonian Magazine
  • Cindy Sherman‘s photographic self portraits are unique. I like how her work is based on the construction of identity. And how it plays with the visual and cultural codes of art, celebrity, gender, and photography.

Shoot Like Arron Siskind

Aaron Siskind is known for his innovations in abstract photography. His work stands out to me because one it’s in black and white which I love, because I honestly prefer photography in black and white. And second his work is just unique and really catches your eye.
